Completion Ceremony of Zhu Xuanxian Statue

由重庆国画院主办、重庆南山龙园协办的“朱宣咸塑像落成仪式”，2003年3月22日上午在重庆南山举行。
中央驻渝与本地的报社、电视、广播等十余家主要媒体进行了现场报道。
朱宣咸全身塑像由雕塑家、四川美术学院王官乙老教授制作。塑像基座左右两侧面的线刻由朱宣咸的后代绘制。
重庆市文化、美术、新闻、出版、教育界及政府的代表、领导，社会各界人士及亲友数百人自发的冒雨参加了当天的仪式，人们列队参加仪式的人车队伍排了数里路。

On March 22th, 2003, the "Completion Ceremony of Zhu Xuanxian Statue" was held at the South Mountain in Chongqing, which was hosted by Chongqing Academy of Chinese Paintings and co-sponsored the Dragon Garden of the South Mountain. Hundreds participated the ceremony in rain, including well-known figures,famous artists,leaders from circles in arts, news, press, education, government, As well as hundreds of Zhu's Friends and relatives.
Director of Chongqing Culture Bureau and Leader of Chongqing government unveiled the statute. A famous professor of Sichuan Instituteof Fine Arts and Zhu Jiang, second son of Zhu Xuanxian, unveiled the epigraph. Then, the famous painter and dean of Chongqing Academy of Chinese Paintings, curator of Chongqing Art Gallery, chairman and secretary general of Chongqing Artists' Association, president of Senior Professor Association of Sichuan Institute of Fine Arts, and board chairman of Dragon Garden of the South Mountain, addressed the ceremony on behalf of their units and organizations, cherishing the memory of Zhu Xuanxian. Zhu Cheng, Zhu Xuanxian's eldest son, expressed his thanks to the attendance on behalf of Zhu's family and relatives. The ceremony ended with a consecration of flowers to Zhu Xuanxian by all the participants in line-up, accompanied with Beethoven's Requiem.

Zhu Xuanxian's statue is sculptured by a sculptor and a senior professor of Sichuan Institute of Fine Arts, and the decoration skirt lines on two sides of the base are drawn by Zhu's Two sons, Zhu Cheng and Zhu Jiang.
