朱宣咸自1989年离休后，始习练太极拳、剑；实练中，悟太极之精深博大，故而有神形皆修，刚柔相济，虚实分明，得机得势之意味。 |

Since the 1989, Zhu Xuanxian had been spending much time in studying Traditional Chinese Taiji Kung Fu (Gongfu)----Shadowboxing and Swordsmanhip, in addition to his art creation. It is worthy to mention that he deepened his understandings and practices in Chinese traditional Taiji Kung Fu (Gongfu) with the profoundly cultivated character and disposition that could be possessed only by an accomplished artist. |

Zhu Xuanxian likes Traditional Chinese Taiji Kung Fu (Gongfu)----Shadowboxing and Swordsmanhip.In his practices, he had deepened his understandings about Chinese traditional Taiji Kung Fu (Gongfu); his performance expresses a perfect combination of both the spirit and the presentation of Chinese traditional Taiji Kung Fu (Gongfu), tempers force with grace, with feints cvering main strikes, making each chance anadvantage.

朱宣咸1994年起，作“习拳杂记”心得笔记，以记录自己在太极拳剑的实践与理论方面的研究。此外，朱宣咸自1996年起多次参加重庆市组织的太极比赛，在1996 ，1997年等连续数次获得老年组前三名。
Since 1994, Zhu had been writing his Taiji Kung Fu (Gongfu) Miscellanea,a note about his Taiji Kung Fu (Gongfu) practices and theoretic studies. He won silver model twice in 1996 and 1997 for Chongqing Senior Taij Taiji Kung Fu (Gongfu) Compition. |
